Hey WoodyZ,

I'm not looking for support for parrellels.  My questions are vmware specific.  Alot of articles I've read about running vmware inside of a virtual requires special consideration/configuration to work successfully.  All of my issues are coming from the vmware player so I want to make sure there was not some step I was missing to successfully get vmware player to run inside of a virtual machine.  Here is what I have done so far.

1. Removed all *.lck files and folders.

2. Removed the "readonly" attribute from the image folder (easy enough but can be overlook sometimes).

These two things actually solved my access denied issue, but now I get this error:

vcpu-0:VM-entry failed; VMCS valid (error code 7)

A log file is available in "C:\Users\briangullo\Documents\Virtual Machines\Windows Server 2008 R2 x64\vmware.log".

I've also changed my cpu setting on the vm image to: "Virtualize Intel VT-x/EPT or AMD-V/RVI." per the article Running Nested VM's.  I've attached the log file just incase your interested.

Thanks in advanced for your help.

B
